PHOTOS: Operation Warm takes over Glengarry Elementary School

Local 140 Firefighter’s Union is changing students’ lives for the better, one coat at a time, through the Operation Warm program.

This year, the firefighter’s union gave 420 children at Glengarry Elementary a coat, helping each child’s family stretch limited financial resources to other basic necessities.

A school assembly was held as children were fitted for brand new, American-made winter coats.
