The School for Science and Math at Vanderbilt is now accepting applications

Is your eighth grader into science or math? Like, really into science or math? Then listen up, because Vanderbilt has a once in a lifetime opportunity for you.

The School for Science and Math at Vanderbilt is now accepting applications for rising ninth graders (current eighth graders) who are:

  • very interested in science and math,
  • inquisitive and imaginative,
  • self-motivated learners and
  • excited about exploring cutting-edge science.

The School is no joke. Students spend a full day there every week for all four years of high school learning and researching alongside some of Vanderbilt University’s top minds. Past students have gone on to great glory and college opportunity, like this, this, and this.

The School is tuition free, but it is limited to 26 students in each grade. The application deadline is February 13, so head over to the SSMV website to learn more and apply.

Information is available online.

NOTE: Please follow the instructions for mailing applications before the deadline.
