Antioch Robotics Team does it again, $5,000 from NASA

Antioch may be the new kid on the block when it come to robotics, but they are playing with money from the big boys of engineering excellence. Antioch High School’s Robotics Team has once again won a grant from NASA. They have been awarded $5,000 second year program growth grant.

We caught up with Antioch’s CTE Instructor James Anderson earlier this year as his team was starting the process of building their newest competition robots. “The money will be used to cover registration fee and allow the team to improve,” says Mr. Anderson.

Antioch is only 1 of 3 teams in Tennessee to receive a grant from NASA. 201 awards were given in all.

Congratulations and good luck!
