John Early Middle Magnet and Head Middle Magnet top the Battle of the Books
Fierce competition… head-to-head struggles… literary warfare.
Another Battle of the Books is in the… well, books. The annual event from the Nashville Public Library pitted 23 Metro schools against one another for academic supremacy. Teams spend the year reading books and then put their knowledge to the test answering trivia questions on the day of the Battle.
For the second year in a row, John Early Museum Magnet Middle Prep emerged triumphant after a tough final round against Head Middle Magnet. The winning students rode back to school in a limousine, walking into a student assembly with a trophy, free books – and serious bragging rights.
Congratulations to all the competitors!
