Arts Showcase at H.G. Hill raises money, looks awesome
Last month, H.G. Hill Middle Prep had their inaugural Art and Talent Showcase. It was an evening celebrating students while raising money for the Visual and Performing Arts programs.
Every student’s talents were represented.
The evening began with an Art Walk through the school hallways. The art students worked hard all year to showcase their work, and the results were excellent. It was amazing see all the vibrant art and the incredible talent the students possess. There was also a spaghetti supper catered by Finezza Italian Bistro, a silent auction with generous donations from various visual and performing art community partners, a bake sale and even a photo booth.
But the undeniable highlight was the Talent Showcase. Students, families, teachers and the H.G. Hill community came out in full force to support the talent. After a wonderful student-led rendition of the national anthem, the Honor Band, Rock Band and a group of fabulous teachers kicked off the showcase. Singing, dancing, tumbling, cello, guitar and rap filled the stage. It was truly a wonderful evening to celebrate being an H.G. Hill Panther!
