VOTE for J.T. Moore to win $25,000 for outdoor education

J.T. Moore MiddleJ.T. Moore Middle Prep has an amazing opportunity to upgrade the park area surrounding its school through a contest sponsored by Bridgestone. Bridgestone is awarding $25,000 to transform one exceptional outdoor space, and J.T. Moore’s project is one of the 12 finalist projects from across the United States and Canada!

The proposal includes a community greenhouse, a playground and walking path. The community greenhouse would be used for educating our children about healthy foods and sustainable agriculture, and the new playground would include distinctive equipment made from recycled materials.

Your vote can help to transform J.T. Moore’s exterior for students for years to come.

The project with the most votes wins. It’s as simple as that. And we can win this, but we need you to vote every day! Moore Principal Dr. Gary Hughes estimates that they need 15,000 votes to contend for the prize – that’s only 500 votes per day. Stick a post-it note on your fridge or set a reminder on your phone to vote when you wake up, at lunch, or before you go to bed… whenever is most convenient for you!

Please also encourage your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to participate.  Blast the news out to your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Linked In.

J.T. Moore is competing against 11 other enthusiastic communities across the United States and Canada, but something tells me the Matadors have the edge. With such a committed community around that school, how can they lose??

Please vote online for J.T. Moore Middle Prep’s project. You are allowed to vote one time per day. Voting ends April 30.
