VOTE: Help Bailey STEM Magnet Middle win $100,000
Bailey STEM Magnet Middle Prep students are getting the chance of a lifetime that could lead to more than $100,000 in technology for their school. They’ve been working for months on a project to study and advance simple home improvements that can lead to big gains in energy efficiency. They even designed a mobile app to help families conserve more energy.
Thanks to this project, Julie Hasfjord, STEM teacher at Bailey, is the statewide winner in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow contest and is headed to the national competition in Austin, Texas, next week with her students. The statewide prize which carried an award of over $20,000 worth of technology for Bailey. The national prize could get them another $100,000!
Now for the nitty gritty…
The team needs your voice to win, which means we need your help drumming up votes.
