Parents share their voices on Common Core and assessments

Around 80 Metro parents came to a community meeting at East Nashville Magnet School this week to speak directly with Dr. Register, Board members and district leadership about Common Core State Standards and the assessments we use.

They got a close look at the standards and what is expected of their children in school. They also learned a lot more about the PARCC assessments that go along with them and even got to see some sample questions.
