VOTE: Overton senior up for a Score scholarship
You can make a serious difference for an Overton High School senior.
Ashlin Wildun is up for the Score “Students Rise to the Challenge” Scholarship, and you can vote for her! Ashlin wrote a brilliant essay called “Climbing Does Not Stop at the Top” all about what higher standards and expectations mean to her:
Not every student learns in the same way, hence, teachers and educators must be able to convey their lessons in multiple manners. With a flexible mindset, more students will be reached and will effectively comprehend the lessons. I applaud my teachers for possessing this wonderful capability; I admire the drive they have to ensure that I understand what they are teaching. By aiding teachers with different ways to communicate their lessons, I feel classrooms will have improved test scores and students will be able to better relate and understand the material.
There is a $250 scholarship on the line, so head over to the Score website, read her essay and vote for Ashlin!
