Eakin students jump into action on Belmont’s basketball court
Eakin Elementary students jumped on the court at a Belmont Women’s Basketball game this week. And yes, I mean “jumped” literally. The Jumping Eagles performed a special jump rope routine at half-time as part of the school’s annual Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser.
It was Eakin Family Night at Belmont, and part of the night’s ticket sales went to the school. They also collected food donations from fans and families who came to the game.
Eakin Principal Anne-Marie Gleason and Assistant Principal Tara Loba were honored as guest coaches for the game.
Thanks to Belmont and good job to Eakin students!
