70th Annual Hume Award goes to Overton lineman, violinist

For 70 years, the Hume Award recognizes strong work in the classroom and on the football field. For the fourteenth time, an Overton High School is bringing it home.

Congratulations to offensive lineman Kevin Scott, who won the award in a luncheon today.

Kevin is a strong student, a stellar football player and, yes, a violin player.

We’ll never sum up Kevin’s accomplishment’s better than his school newspaper, so go over to Bobcat Beat to read all about him. It’s a terrific read.
