DuPont Tyler students raise food for Nashville & money for the Philippines

DuPont Tyler Middle Prep students partnered with a local church to raise funds for the relief effort for typhoon recovery in the Philippines, as well as food for the hungry in Nashville. For each canned food item students donated, the church donated 50 cents to the effort. The canned food will be used to stock food pantries, and the money will go to the Philippines. Altogether, the school collected more than 1000 cans, resulting over $500 dollars being donated for the Philippine relief effort. Nice work, kids!
