Championship Excitement: The Thrill of Victory and…Well, You Know
The North Sports Report attended one of the all-time best played, most riveting Middle School Soccer matches last week for the City Championship. The exceptionally talented Two Rivers Middle Lady Pirates and MLK Middle Lady Royals put on an extraordinary show. The stands were filled with rabid fans, including cheerleaders and a pep band section consisting of a single middle school bassoonist. Seriously, at each exciting moment of the game, the symphonic tone of a bassoon would echo across the historic MLK field. You can’t beat middle school spirit!
Bowling Season is Rolling Along
Check the box scores in the newspaper each day to see the Bowling scores. Cane Ridge bowler Aaron Ruiz will contend for a state championship again this year.
