Recording pros impressed with Pearl-Cohn’s trajectory

Audio and recording professionals from 25 states spent part of their summer studying Pearl-Cohn’s cutting edge entertainment programs.

The Audio Engineering Society held its national conference late last month in Murfreesboro. The three-day conference focused on various teaching methods, resources, industry relations and related topics that impact the theoretical and practical aspects of professional audio education.

Pearl-Cohn Entertainment Magnet High School was the focus of a panel discussion entitled “Pearl-Cohn High School: A Case Study of Collaboration Between Industry and Education.” Sam Lorber, Instructional Designer at Pearl-Cohn, served as a panelist along with representatives from Music Makes Us, Metro Schools and The Recording Academy Producers & Education Wing.
