School starts in less than a month! Now is the time to start getting ready for the first day of school in Nashville.
That means updating your immunizations and getting the once-over from a doctor. Good thing, then, that United Neighborhood Health Services is offering affordable shots and physicals.
From The Tennessean:
Metro Nashville students entering seventh grade, kindergarten and pre-K are not allowed to attend school unless they have proof of immunizations when school starts on Aug. 1.
UNHS welcomes uninsured patients, and school immunizations are free. Patients are charged for the physicals on a sliding fee scale based on their ability to pay. UNHS also accepts TennCare and private insurance.
