Read Across America… and right here in Nashville

Metro students and teachers are celebrating Dr. Seuss’ birthday with Read Across America today.

MNEA hosted students from Cole, Hattie Cotton, Glenview and Tom Joy Elementary Schools this morning at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center for a very special reading of “The Remarkable Farkle McBride.” Why was it so special? The reader was Maestro Giancarlo Guerrero!

MNEA also brought the “Cat-a-Van” to Ross and Warner Elementary Schools this week, reading great Dr. Seuss books to students there.
