Maplewood High School proudly presents  the 1st annual Dickerson Road “Buffalo” Bowl!

Come out and support the Panther Nation or the Hunters Lane Warriors as these two teams battle for the Buffalo Cup. Sponsored by the Dickerson Road Merchants Association (DRMA), The Buffalo Bowl is set to change the landscape of High School football, the likes of which will rock Music City!

A rivalry of this magnitude has never been celebrated to this degree, where the winner will proudly hoist the Buffalo Cup and retain bragging rights for a full calendar year! The prestigious Buffalo trophy serves as an icon to honor the rich history and heritage of the historic Dickerson Road/North First area of East Nashville.

The Buffalo Trail is a historic landmark that is deeply rooted in the Native American heritage which is connected with the “Trail of Tears.” DRMA President Mike Douglas will do the opening coin toss and will proudly present the Buffalo Trophy to the winning team at the conclusion of the game. Several local business from Dickerson Rd. and the surrounding Nashville area will be participating.
